Santa Baby.....

I can't believe it's almost CHRISTMAS again! This year is flying by so quickly and here it is December 1st! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and then spent the weekend putting up the tree and decorating. My little one has been going NUTS this year - I had to have a real heart-to-heart with him last night to let him know that "NO" Santa is NOT coming tonight. He figured, the tree is up, it's decorated, Santa will be here to approve tonight and leave presents! I couldn't convince him otherwise. He even told me, "Mommy, our tree is so beautiful, I bet Santa will leave EXTRA presents for us!!" I love the things 4-year-olds say!!

A little lovely...

Little Miss "M" was an absolute delight. Such a sweet little soft spoken girl, although I was surprised by her vocabulary...she corrected me when I called an Egret a Heron as he was walking by!! "No, no, no, it is not a heron," she said! We took a nice hike through the trails at John Chestnut Park, made friends with some squirrels and enjoyed a gorgous afternoon! I could have photographed this little cutie all day!! Here are a few of my favorites and a sneak peak for mom. I will have the rest of your gallery posted in the next couple of days!

We played hooky!

Last week, Dave took the day off work and the we kept the kids out of school to have a "family fun" day. We spent the entire day at Boyd Hill Nature Park in St. Petersburg. This will be one of those days that I will always remember! The weather was outstanding - high 60s - and sunny. We didn't see as much wildlife as we had expected, but did have a great day explorning the park, having a picnic lunch and just having a really nice day overall.

Here are a few shots from our fun day. We saw TONS of spiderwebs - this is my favorite shot from the day. There's also one (rare) shot of me - 26 weeks along! The shot of Dave and the kids is my new desktop on my computer - I just love it!

Sneak Peak!

Wow. It's been way too long since I've posted! I really need to work on my sneak peaks! It seems since the pregnancy, school starting, and after school activities on top of my photo sessions, the blog has really kind of taken a back seat! I apologize!! We found out a few weeks ago that we're having a baby girl and we're just so excited!! I can't believe there's only about 14 weeks to go already! Time is just flying by.

Here are some photos from a session I had the pleasure to do just this past week. I had SUCH a blast with these two families! I know they have been waiting anxiously for their peak, so here you go!!

WOW!! It's been longer than I thought!!

OK if there is still anyone out there reading, I would like to apologize for the amount of time that has passed since my last post. I promise, there is good reason!! We are expecting baby #3 in February!! I've been very busy over the summer with both kids out of school!! Coordinating them along with photo shoots and being overWHELMINGLY tired, well, the Blog has kind of gone by the wayside. I promise there will be much to come!! I'm feeling 100% better. I actually feel awake and conscious during the day which is a huge improvement over the beginning of the summer!!! We're very excited about this little one coming - I'm almost 16 weeks along already. I can't believe how quickly time flies with the third one!! Being so busy with the other 2, I just don't have time to really daydream about it like I did with my first babies!

I have lots of plans for this fall and am narrowing in on the Christmas card designs I will be offering. If you are interested in scheduling a photo shoot and would like to have prints ready for Christmas, I would do so quickly! I will be posting further information regarding timelines for Christmas photos in the very near future.

My beautiful ballerina

I just HAD to post these pictures...I took them a couple of weeks ago after her recital, but just now getting around to editing them....Emma's finally really getting "into" having her picture taken! (those of you who know us know what I've gone through over the years with her running away screaming at the sight of my camera - typical photographer's kid!!)

I look at these pictures and just wonder where the time has gone!??!? She's already 7 and just growing into such a lovely, caring, sweet person. I'm so blessed and proud to be her mommy!!

I had to add a pic of my little guy too - he was along with us chasing holding my reflector....er..I mean hunting alligators, throwing twigs and just being silly. This is the typical face I get when I ask him to look at my camera...he's SUCH a ham....

Gorgeous light - gorgeous mom!!

This shoot was an absolute treat! Meet the Brennan's. We weren't sure we were going to have a shoot this day as we had afternoon thunderstorms. Thankfully, the skies opened up just in time and we had absolutely gorgeous light! We also had monstor humidity, but Jennifer was such a trooper!! Talk about a gorgeous, glowing mom-to-be!! Can you believe she's wearing pre-maternity jeans???
