Natural Beauty

We recently went camping in Ginnie Springs, which is located in north Florida. WOW what a place this is!! The springs were just so beautiful - they really take your breath away - the water is so clear and perfect and the colors are just really magnificant! I took off early the first morning on my bike with my camera strapped to my back to investigate the springs. I was literally the only person around for over an hour, with the exception of 3 divers in the main spring at the very beginning. Other than that, it was me, my camera and the sunrise! It was breathtaking! Here are a few pics from my morning!!

Sunday afternoon at the beach

The weather is finally warming up!! Now, I know to all of you in the north, 50's and 60's doesn't sound like much. But to us, that means fireplace and jacket weather!!! This weekend, we were finally in the low 80's - definitely my comfort zone!! The kids and I couldn't resist an afternoon splashing around at North Shore Beach!! The water was a bit chilly, but the kids didn't mind getting soaked! We had a fantastic afternoon!!! Josh even cooperated getting his picture taken - I think he secretly enjoyed it!! I was just happy he wasn't running away screaming in protest for once!! :)

BOY fun!!

I have a sneak peak ready for you Lisa!! I had so much fun with these little guys last weekend! And can you imagine more gorgeous boys to shoot?? So photogenic! J. kept us running and guessing - but always laughing - what a wonderful sense of imagination and humor in that little boy! And little B. - so laid back, so quiet....but also LOVES to laugh and try to be just like big brother - even when he started tumbling down the hill! B. thought that was halarious and followed right behind, laughing the whole way!!

Emma and I went out a couple of days ago to test out the new pettiskirt I made (with the guidance from my mom and my friend Judy)! I have been wanting some of these to use with clients, however at a cost of $90, I figured it would be better to learn how to make them so that I could have limitless colors and sizes!! It was actually a pretty fun process seeing it all come together and make an ACTUAL skirt! I was pretty proud to say the least! Of course, Emma's favorite thing to do in the skirt was DANCE !! We had a really fun afternoon together! The only problem is - WHAT COLOR do I make next??? :)

First post!

Welcome to my very first post as a blogger! After years of dreaming and years of practicing on friends and family, I'm actually going to start doing photography professionally. I am working on my new website, but for now, I thought I'd begin with a blog!

The first picture I'm posting I feel is perfect. It's a picture of my son, Joshua. He fell asleep this afternoon on the floor of his room with his head resting on a book entitled, "Blessings Everywhere". What a perfect place to begin. To realize all the many, many blessings I have all around me - my wonderful, supportive husband, my two beautiful children and a brand-new career path! I'm very excited about this new venture. Please check back as there will be new posts and new pictures and prayerfully lots of news over the next few weeks and months!
